You may prefer the classic beauty and natural look of hardwood flooring. You can use natural wood flooring in an elegant or casual setting. You can always dress up hardwood floors with beautiful area rugs. Wood flooring is available in several styles:

Hand Scraped Floors give your home the more rustic "old world" look. These distressed wood floors are becoming more popular. Hand scraped floors are easier to maintain because scratches can be touched up to blend back in. We hand scrape strip or plank floors.

Strip Flooring comes in strips with widths that range from 1½" through 2¼" and thickness of 5/16" through ¾". When strip flooring is laid down, it can create an illusion that a room is larger than it is with lighter color stains, or natural finishes.

Pre-Finished Solid Strip Flooring is available in many beautiful stains and requires a ¾" sub-floor over concrete slabs.

Parquet Flooring is a series of wood pieces that create a geometric design. Parquet offers a variety of design options.

Laminate Flooring is a popular less expensive option. It offers greater scratch resistance for people with pets.
